This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act.
I request that a copy of the following documents be provided to me:
- Any documents that include the IRS method, model, estimate, formula, methodology or philosophy for determining the October 2006 changes in user fees for an enrolled agent’s initial enrollment and enrollment renewal.
- Any documents that include the IRS method, model, estimate, formula, methodology or philosophy for determining the October 2006 changes in IRS user fees for the Special Enrollment Examination.
- Any documents that include a request for the Office of Professional Responsibility to reassess enrolled agent user fees or otherwise show the impetus for the August 2006 EA user fee Notice of Proposed Rulemaking.
- Any documents that outline the IRS’s user fee review process.
- Any documents that discuss the results of the most recent biennial review of enrollment user fees, pursuant to OMB Circular No. A-25 (8)(e).
- Any section of any document that fulfills the requirement of section 52 of Circular No. A-11, relating to the Chief Financial Officers Act of 1990, that includes the results of the most recent biennial review of enrollment user fees.
I do not wish to inspect the documents first.
In order to determine my status for the applicability of fees, you should know that I am an “Other” requester seeking information for non-commercial or personal use.
I am willing to pay fees for this request up to a maximum of $100. If you estimate that the fees will exceed this limit, please inform me first.
